Want to buy a 1tb or so SATA SSD with a external case. Wait for the sale or buy now?

Also recommend which sata ssd I should buy. Usage is to be connected to raspberry pi and use as media server.

Try nvme if supports.. Also mx is best if want in HDD form

I have to use with Raspberry Pi and hence need case too for the same. Not sure nvme can be used same way. If i dont have benefit of nvme I won't spend more.

I see the mx is like 1000 more for same size. Why?

Also, are brands like Evm, silicon power, zebronics any good? I see their same HDD is cheaper hence asking.

Mx has dram while bx is dramless, for ur case dram doesn't matter that much, so better see the price and decide, evm zebronics r waste, only buy ssd from reputable companies no point cheap out some hundred as ssds r already cheap and can last a long time
