What happens if someone calls or SMS to the number in JioFi ? Whether it will ring and SMS will be delivered or failed ?
I want to know who called or SMS to the number. Is that possible and how ?

If you’re mobile is connected to JioFi and JioCall app status is Online then you’ll get incoming call.
You can also forward all calls to other number, so that you’ll always get incoming calls irrespective of connection to JioFi.
You can get all calls by forwarding all calls to your different number…
Alternatively, there is a JioCall app, you will have to be connected to JioFi all the time for getting calls & SMS… but there may be issues with this – even if you are online & connected the caller may get out-of-reach // switched-off notification. #unreliable
I have been using jiofi since a long time ago. with my experience i like to suggest one thing.
if you want to use jiofi then buy NEW jio sim specially for jiofi only. in another words, for the Jiofi router, It is best not to use the jio SIM that receives calls or sms. i mean, use Jiofi for data only. do not use it for sms or calls. why? what is the reason behind this suggestion?point no.1= you will lose all incoming calls if you do not connnect jiofi to your android mobile properly.
point no.2= In order to receive calls from jiofi, the “JioCall” app on our mobile must be constantly connected to the jiofi router and working. even if the jiofi router is properly connected to your mobile, after some time the JioCall app may stop working due to RAM management or some other problem on your mobile. calls from the jiofi router also stop at such times.point no.3= sms messages can be received to jiofi without the help of your mobile, but you cant read them untill you properly setup jiofi to JioCall app through your android mobile.
point no.4= JioCall app performence is worst! look at the app’s rating and reviews at the google playstore.
some tips:- If you need to use your primary jio SIM in a jiofi router, I suggest you setup call divertion for your jio SIM to divert all incoming calls to your android mobile’s SIM to avoid losing incoming calls due to the above reasons. for ultimate solution, don’t share the mobile number of jiofi’s sim to anyone

If the call forwarding not enabled and also not connected to JioCall app, whether the called person will hear like ‘regular phone call ring and person is not answering the call’ or ‘the number is not reachable’ ?
jiocall app is unreliable. connect/disconnect automatically. i manually connect sometimes for otp. forward calls to another number. if operator is different for forwarding call like airtel/voda then incoming calls received (as forwarded call) will incur charges from main balance from jio.
In simple terms there will be charges for incoming call if forwarded on another operator.
Wants to understand whats the benifit of this,
When u can use mobile data, or wifi at home?

Please suggest where can I buy a jiofi device. enquired a couple of Jio digital stores with no luck.
Not sure because i am not using but Jio Provides jioVoice app where you can use
