Today’s market correction pulled GMPs down.
Now GMP is:
CAMS 280
Chemcon 240
Angel 25
For me chemcon is a go,
CAMS – Avoid
Angel – Need to see 1st day figures.
UTI AMC IPO – Schedule (Tentative)
25th Sept – Announcement of Price Band
29th Sept – Anchor Investors Allotment
30th Sept – Offer Opens
05th Oct – Offer Closes
08th Oct – Finalisation of Basis of Allotment
09th Oct – Unblocking of ASBA Accounts
12th Oct – Credit of Equity Shares to Depository Accounts
13th Oct – Commencement of Trading

Yesss
CAMS is good for long run, but expect some headwinds in the short term.
CAMS derive nearly 90% of revenue from servicing mutual funds.
Dip in mutual funds inflow and declining markets due to COVID doesn’t augur well in the short term.
P.S. I subscribed CAMS primarily because of strong cash flows, margins in the range of 35-40%, asset light business model, and high entry barrier.
Avoid Chemcon at all costs!!
Would you lend your money to a person with criminal record?
One of the promoters has criminal case going on. Further, there is a litigation on Insider trading by SEBI.

Ofcourse not!
But then Who cares if fig will be 100-200x, take the listing gain and get aside. Most ipos deserve to be exited on listing. Even HDFC AMC dived to 1200 even though it listed at 60% premium from its issue price of 1100.
Low float is a moat these days!

It’s a portfolio stock. Market leader, almost monopoly.
But Valuations not good for Listing gains. People may get disappointed as there’s less scope of listing gains due to stretched Valuations. For instance, Hdfc amc is around 39pe and it is around 35. If it lists 50% premium (probability is low), it’ll be trading way more than HDFC AMC and that imo isn’t sustainable for LONG.
BUT, it’s indeed a pf stock. Add on major dips type.

What’s low float is a moat? Please shed some light on it.

Arey mazak h bhai, take it with a pinch of salt.
Ye koi business ka fundamental nahi hota.
Low float stocks are those with a low number of shares, basically less supply more demand leads to higher stock price and thus higher volatility as well.

True, I expect it to trade below IPO price before December, and that would be good opportunity to add more of it.

Free float is basically total equity shares, excluding shares held by promoters or govt etc. Basically mota mota total shares in supply!
Ex – Ruchi soya! Supply was too low in the market, and hence demand kept taking prices higher!!

The main point is they make money when their clients grow

Should I apply for one lot in each or applying for more lots will have better chances (or more shares) for allotment in CAMS and CHEMCON?

1lot 1 pan 1 demat
Always ensure you are following this 1-1-1 rule when ipo is oversubscribed.

grey market price/premium
rmm63629219 wrote:what is gmp??
This most deciding factor for listing gains
Except angel , apply other two. Sure angel ipo will be listing loss ,at current market conditions
happydealss wrote:Can we cancel the application made?
yes why not
Stats for all 3 firms are not at all convincing.
As usual, day 3 will be the gamechanger
Chittorgarh is good website for ipo related info
If two back to back IPOs(HM,RM) give good returns, then it definitely encourage investors to apply for succeeding IPO without any good reason.
