Can I pay pre-pay 20k on my Axis credit card to get a (temporary) higher limit?

Axis FK credit card.
Want to buy the LG Wing tomorrow.
Currently have a limit of 16k (20k FD), didn’t ever think I’d be buying a phone on FK 
Can I pre-pay 20k and get an effective credit limit of 36k?

It may work but not sure whether you will get 5% off on entire amount or not(indusind don’t give reward points on spend over & above card limit in a statement cycle while icici amazonpay now flag many such transactions as suspicious/commercial in nature & will investigate before crediting the reward points to amazonpay wallet).
I tried this for my icici card, it worked. Not sure about axis. First u pay 2k and see

Partial pay with GV is the best option.
