Can I reopen closed HDFC Creditcard?

When I went to the USA (in 2013), I closed my HDFC credit card which I opened in 2011.
Now, can I reopen the same account? since this card is the oldest on my credit report, there might be a chance to increase the score isn't?
BTW- I moved back to India now.

Just having a 10 years old credit card is not going to make your cibil score 800+. Use your income proof/salary slip to get the highest amt limit card with good benefits & pay your bills on time, that's it.

Respect? Sad to see such perceptions. Any restriction over here would be for a reason based on dimer activity in the forum and Moderation approvals happens when there are certain invalid/incorrect posts removal and other factors. It gets auto triggered by the system and same gets eased accordingly with time. Some end up being blocked completely as well if continued.
Those who had similar restrictions earlier does take time to be out of it. Some taking forever to be out of it due to their violations. We dont want anyone to post against rules or get into such conditions. Keep posting good and everyone can stay out of such restrictions in the forum
