Can someone explain hdfc dc platinum cashback??

use it via smartbuy portal on Amazon to get 5% cashback

If you shop via Smartbuy then you would get 5% cashback on Amazon and 2% on Flipkart. However this is capped at 750 per month. These offers can change from time to time. Cashback comes after 90 plus days. For paying credit card bills, you can get 1% cashback. Only certain banks’ cards are supported. Again the total cashback from all sources is capped at 750 per month. This cashback comes in a few days but you need to redeem in multiples of 250.

Yes. Limited to a maximum voucher purchase of 5k per month. Cashback comes in around 100 days.

You have to pay them via HDFC netbanking or app. There you add the card to be paid as a bill payment and then make the payment selecting the debit card as payment mode. HDFC allows several banks cards to be paid but doesn’t support some like IDFC. ICICI, Axis etc are supported.

Make sure you select payment method as the debit card. It defaults to netbanking and you won’t get any cashback on that.

If you pay bill with this card without auto pay, do you still get cashback? I think there’s a 5% cashback on SmartPay for first 12 months.

Smartbuy cashback capping is 1000 not 750.

For cc bill payment, you can get debit card points( within 2-5 working days) if you pay your credit card bill in hdfc bill pay and select the debit card (by default netbanking is selected) this has a capping of rs 750 per month and can be redeemed in multiples of 250.

Yes. You can purchase a GV of maximum 5k per month.

Not correct. 750 is the global cap per month that applies to everything.

Only platinum. For millennia add to Paytm wallet and pay cc bills from Paytm (max capping 400 per month)

Yes but keep in mind 5k amazon gv per month per card per acc limit. If you try to bypass it then your card will be blocked on gyftr for doing any txn.
