Can we give OTP even on denying Jiomart order

i just purchased toilet freshner for mrp 69rs on COD later decided not required, order was under process so could not cancel, called jiomart, they said deny on delivery, delivery boy called me before delivery and said dont cancel, just give me OTP, i will use it by paying as it is cod, and if you cancel have to go far for return just for 69.
in dilemma whether to give OTP to delivery guy or not, require suggestion from dimers who went through such situation

The delivery agents get charges for both delivery and returns . So they are not at loss .
If at all he wants the product let him deliver to you and then take it by paying the amount of it to you . No shortcuts , give otp and will keep it sort of , can’t say anything in digital frauds if any.
thats why worried, ye log roj naye naye type ka fraud laateh hai, i also have jiomoney account with same registered mob. number and jio upi account also.
Make sure the OTP is for delivery and not for login/account related
if u gave them otp they will mark it delivered but what about money ? if driver is paying money then what about toilet cleaner

Nothing to worry.. Its cod.. And if you give him otp.. He will mark it as delivered.. Hence now its his duty to deposit that cash to store. You are not responsible anymore.. Dont worry
Thanks everyone for suggestion, delivery man came and asked OTP, he said sir if you deny i have to travel 13km and then stand in que for 2 hr for return, i get 30rs for 1 delivery, if you give otp i will pay and personally use the product as wasting so much time and effort not worth just for rs69, his request looked genuine to me, but then to avoid any unknown happening i myself took the product and paid him 69, he said thanks sir and went.
