Suggestions Needed
Car type – SUV
Budget – 15 lakhs
Seater – 5
Father has selected 2019 Renault Duster. Is this the best in that range. Do suggest. I have no idea about car technicalities.
- Sort By
+1 Harrier
MG Hector goddammit what a car
Also Creta
and don’t ever ever think to buy duster my many relative regret their buy
+1 for MG hector. I guess there’s no other car brand who is offering that much of tech facility’s built in that price range. But it’s too early to judge. One should wait for its long term review.
Bicycle le lo best rehega. Uppar se eco friendly bhi hai. Salman bhai bhi tou wohi use karte hai.
Better go for second hand(2-3year old)….Believe me you don’t regret
And Yeah Say No To Duster…better go for XUV500
Bro mg has stopped bookings for hector now. So better to wait for kia seltos or just go for tata harrier but harrier has many niggles. And duster is too outdated and is due for upgrade . So better to avoid it.
I suggest you Hyundai creta, ford ecosport, mahindra XUV 500. This are tried and tested Products.
If you want true SUV buy force gurkha.
duster is not a recommeded buy at this time as it is old and with Renault’s uncertain future in india, better avoid.
creta , the best seller in that range and you can buy with your eyes closed. Negatives are -it is overpriced , comparatively higher maintenance costs.
harrier, hector , jeep compass, xuv 500 maynot comein your mentioned budget.
harrier is a good buy though it has its own share of niggles. u will get a car which will be more than value for money there. ofcourse you have to be ready to handle the famed tata service centers
hector is perfect except for the fact that they are a new comer and they will have their own problems like after sales and service, resale etc….(they do have an attractive maintenance package and buyback scheme )
jeep compass is good too except for their reducing number of service centers.
another underdog which has had rave reviews and is now almost forgotten is tata hexa XTA which is about to be stopped, which may mean u can get the car at sweet prices if u donot mind the tata badge and resale value
if budget is a concern then check compact suv’s like xuv 300, nexon, venue etc.
so take a pick
No idea about others.. but duster is good for dusting purposes. It can never be the best, it was never too.
Ask your dad to check YouTube vids. There are many comparisons there in this budget.
The first and the only necessary thing that i will look in a car is its strength. I want a safe car that has 5 star rating in crash tests. I often find myself driving at 100-120 Km/hr speeds on highways and accidents would be fatal at such high speeds.
The worst car in SUV segment in India is XUV 500. Take any newspaper or article, whenever XUV 500 meets with an accident, almost 70% passengers die.
Other secondary features that i want in a car are dual AC control, HUD and Automatic transmission..(All of these features are present in some new upcoming models like Kia seltos, so i will be checking that car as soon as possible.)
Better go for limousine
Tata Harrier anyday
Go for jeep
Bro Make India great again!!!!!!!
Tata harrier >>>>
+ Tata Harrier to Get Sunroof and Automatic Gearbox Variant Soon
MG NEW CAR
In my opinion, MG has a long way to go for it to be a threat to Tata’s business; especially to the Harrier.
From Safety to Service, Tata is a well-known player and their latest vehicles are all built like Tanks.
Sales is one thing but Service is where most players take a big hit and as of now, MG has plenty of work in that area. With only one car, MG cannot be considered a great competitor because with so less invested(only 63 sales and service centres) in their brand here in India. They may shut down the whole of India operations having very little to lose and their customers will be the ones to struggle in such a scenario when it comes to after-sales service to spares availability.
You can think for, hyundai kona electric. Will get loan as well tax benefits too.
Ya got Kwid
tata harrier
