Death/Suicidie ? Seriously… Parents need more education than kids… I see parents going crazy trying to make their kids superhuman… It’s sad and the kids don’t have a life at all… Gym/karate/music/cuemath/violin/tennis they just pick stuff and pack his calendar daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM..
That kid is losing his childhood.. Parents are getting crazier…

On the other hand suicide, that’s not a solution to anything just shows that you’re a coward and took the easy way out.. You were weak and the world is better off without people like that, I know the comment is harsh but that’s the reality.. Learn to fight, life is a journey, you’re going to face all circumstances, you just need to fight back, else you don’t belong here..

WFH was always there in companies, but there was no policy governing regular WFH… Now that it’s the new norm, orgs are looking at it… I’ve heard some IT companies in India are going back to the old model.. IBM Amazon and MS are planning to switch to VIrtual worker mode, so you’re not tied to a location city or office.. You will always be remote..

Allowance for WFH….no ways
I think it will be exactly opposite …Companies are going to reduce pay citing you are staying in Tier 2/3 city, WFH so less expenses …Salary is to go down.

Nope, not gonna happen.. You can’t reduce salary out of the blue.. WFH is less expenses bro, so no reason the salaries need to go down… The salaries might not go up real high, but there could be an added variable component for WFH… Although with the new wage policy kicking in April the people might “perceive” this as reduced take home salary however it’s going to benefit them in the long run…

Also waiting for the budget with fingers crossed… WFH allowance tax exemption etc

Most companies have salary linked to the living expense of the city.
Eg. in Mumbai companies do give higher packages when compared to Tier 1 city like Pune similarly companies in Jaipur have less package when compared to let say Bangalore.

Employees opting for WFH from tier 2/3 cities will see pay cuts in coming years. ..Thats my thoughts..net result both Employees/Employers will save money

Nope, there will be no paycuts, companies will just hire more of the T2/3 folks so T1 might need to skill up and skill better. or they’ll be out of jobs … They need to figure out what to do next.. All this is speculation..

I am sure new hire in T2/3 won’t be having same pay as T1…..so T1 gets replaced by low paying T2/3
In summary it’s pay cut..🤦‍♂️

Being Q4, there are many openings in market now with vaccine options.
People have multiple offers if they are above average. Slowness in some areas because of old skills etc. But for normal and Niche skills, its raining $$.

No, that’s not a Pay Cut, the T1 loses his job.. Pay cut is when you keep your job and take lesser pay… Semantics…

No, the companies are all hiring freshers and slowly backfilling experienced folks, unless you’re super skilled and aces, experienced folks, those just sitting doing the same monotonous hit over and over again might be out of a job,,,

Earlier it was 1 technology, but the latest group of entrants are well versed across multipl techs.. good candidates……. and companies don’t want to hire people with more than 4-5 yrs exp, unless it’s for niche skills..
