My friend’s sister’s marriage is next month. He wants to purchase some jewellery online from Amazon and Flipkart. Is there any cashback website which is giving cashback for this category for these websites?

The prices online are usually inflated. During offers, you may be able to save maximum 1.5-2k, which can offset the GST or making charges.

I remember some threads where users bought Gift Vouchers at discount and used in the stores. Check this → https://www.desidime.com/discussions/best-way-t...

That’s why asked for some cashback website giving some cashback on its purchase. Wasn’t able to find any.
Will get back about that thread.

If you are referring to affiliate sites, most exclude jewelry purchases. If at all they include, the % is nothing to offset the inflated prices. Better go with discounted GVs or better negotiate with local outlets for reduced making charges.

Is yono or some other site giving something for affiliate for this category?
Will get back about your discounted gv’s thread soon.

I will let you rephrase your question, think again what you wanted to ask.

You said “most” affiliate websites don’t include this catgeory. My question was, including yono, is there any site which does give cashback on this category?

Many. Google them. My friend sold 2kg of the same to one of these companies with buybacks, it was locally purchased silver. He knew someone in that company so everything was a breeze.
Yeh sunar kisi ke na hoye kahavat yaad rakhna.

It has disabled the same for this category.

That’s all I’m trying to say, everyone will stop giving very soon, only a matter of time. And if they do it will be peanuts when compared against the amount of jewelry purchase involved in marriage. So better stay away and find some better deals local or interms of GVs. Be very careful with GVs, there are lot of varieties.

Last question, why are they doing cashbacks entirely?

You mean why are they giving cashbacks in the first place?

I meant why websites like ck etc. are disabling categories like this for cashbacks.

Because they may not be getting enough margin to share further.

Any source for the same or just from monitoring the market?

Has yono stopped sending message (of Purchase confirmation via yono) to Amazon inbox after 24-48 hrs (which it used to earlier)??

Recently ordered via yono, but no msg received yet. Had got the message in August when I shopped via yono.

@andromeda any idea bro?

Oh I’m not alone then. I tried for a non eligible item just to see if there are any bugs in their system.

Yono is a hit n miss. I mean pathetic customer support. Mail or no, for cash back one is at their mercy.
