Hey friends if any one does the CATRACT SURGERY of theirs parents pls tell me which lens is better
Vivity and trifocal prooptix.

I m confused in that. One doctors recommend vivity and another one is prooptix.

If any one use prooptix or vivity pls shares your experiences

Are you getting it done in tier 2 or 3 city? The lens is dependent on the lifestyle of the person. Has neither of the doctors told that? It's not just brand, but within these brands some imperfections exist. So doctor advises based on patient life style e.g. one lens suitable for those who drive at nights but the same would not be good for those who read more because the first one is not good as reading lenses. Cataract is not life threatening or urgent disease to be treated. Instead of rushing take informed decision. My family member got Vivity lens that's because it suits his life style needs better.

I say this because my mother cataract operation both eyes with imported lens .Don't remember brand . Both doctor were different . The one eye was done with different dr. and other with different doctor. But my mother feel the first doctor operation was done well . Thats why i say it is more imp ortant how the doctor does operation. In simple example when a doctor gives injection some doesn't make feel injectiin and some hands we feel pain.
