Caution to all Dimers who use zoomcar for daily self drive/rentals or planning to use zoomcar in future.
Dear team,
We made two bookings in Zoomcar on 10th December and we are still awaiting for refund amount from the zoomcar team. We tried to reach their customer support number multiple times and all the attempts are in vain. We tried to reach the customer care on email for four times, none of the emails are responded by the zoomcar team.

I tried to search for any forum who can assist in resolving the case with zoomcar. Surprisingly, there are lot of members who fall into trap with Zoomcar and waiting for refunds. Amount was in lakhs and one member was maintaining a xls sheet with list of refunds to be happened from zoom car. It was around 10 Crores.
Please avoid Zoomcar and look for alternate service providers.
Dont block your valuable amount with Zoomcar team.

The way how all services are underpriced nowadays in the name of competition and to create monopoly, eventually all of them will have to adopt some kind of strategy to loot their customers to pay their employees.
Seeing this type of post quite often on Twitter as well, they have blocked money since last 1 year , some person got his 50k blocked and still struggling with the company

I agree with the OP that it takes ages to get refund from zoomcar. I had taken trip from zoom car last month and observed the same issue. Have twitted them and at the same time raised the greviance. But for me I got the fuel refund n the downgraded car refund within 10 days.. It’s better to book without fuel car as personally for me the 20% off code along with 30% zoom credit makes it a better deal than any other providers.
You can initiate charge-back if you booked using credit card.
I posted regarding this last week. Chargeback is working in favour of them saying that merchant has claimed the amount and the service has been rendered. I asked axis bank for the proof of service rendered but still no reply from bank.
It looks like a very big fraud and scam.
I don’t understand, how can they openly cheat their customers and still be in business all this time

Even my money is stuck with them since May 2020. 2 rides were booked amounting to Rs. 30k n still haven’t got back anything. No response on twitter, in fact I was shocked to see so many people asking for refunds there!!!
Better to file chargeback if paid via Credit card.
we can’t…. They are smarter than us. what they do is they keep less fuel in car. After filling extra fuel and uploading the receipt, they normally refund the fuel amount. But last time they have not refunded. I tried sending messages, posted on Facebook. Just a fake promise.
So basically the company is running it’s show on your money 🤑
