CBI warns of trojan 'Cerberus' stealing financial data using COVID-19 info

The CBI has issued a warning to the States, UTs and central agencies regarding a malicious software, Cerberus, which is stealing financial data by luring people with COVID-19-related information. It contacts smartphone users through a text and asks them to click on a link. The link leads to installation of malicious application on users’ phones, which extracts sensitive financial data.

So everyone be careful and also make your parents aware about it, since they are more vulnerable to such attacks.
