All brand and other promotional offers will also be updated to the new Jupiter Rewards structure
The new Jupiter Rewards will be available starting 1st June, 2023. During migration from June 1st 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM,
jewel earning and redemption will be paused. All rewards eligible
transactions done during this period, will be credited with jewels
within a couple of days.

Did you read the description properly?
From 1st June onwards, we'll get 5x Jewels instead of 1x. So, reward rate will be same as yet during earning and redemption of jewels to cash, i.e., 1% in monetary value of the transaction amount rounded to lowest 100.
And it's written nowhere that 1 Jewel = ₹1 during Voucher purchasing 1st June onwards.
It's same like Paytm earlier changing its 10 CB Points = ₹1 to 100 CB Points = ₹1.

they could have done a 500x and made the jewels number look even bigger
