for expensive premium detergent/washing powder may be desired but for daily normal clothes (especially cotton clothes) which ones r u using/used?
was thinking of trying the ones around 50/kg like ghadi/fena/ujala etc

i think he IS already married.
now became Ramu kaka of the household.
first (pre summers) was the post about his beautiful mane (scalp hair grooming).
then topics about cookware.
or utensils or induction no induction.
so mostly those were the still ‘dating’ days (the “how to be a good Ramu kaka” internship)
then again he had similar detergents query thread and about kettles or something.
then now, after live-in started/marriage; she must be taunting that you cannot even get good ghee .. so all those topics.
(strangely he selected @AmulIndiA
. like when some local dairy or farmer could’ve arranged “ghee”… ghee made from butter)
then she must have asked him to go out to get groceries and he paniced and enquired about better place to order it online.
and then, when even Amazon Pantry played him up with missing item: he again looked for help.
but just look at how much “money” he has entrusted DesiDime with… instead of taking it all out and letting her👩🏻🦱 splurge.
yup, 100% he has a new woman in his life or newly married and trusts admin more … with his monies than her.
(he probably also has grumpy in-laws with Micromax phones and BSNL sims and she👩🏻🦱 might be asking him to help out)

what do you want then bhai, Ghadi detergent?
trust me, Harpic or direct toilet acid solution and Ghadi.. both might have do have similar effects on clothes.
unless non important cotton garments or hand towels are there, avoid Ghadi powder (or detergent bar).
else Ghadi is cheap and serves the purpose.
local/ region specific brands are there too but that won’t be of help or rather i do not know what ootions your local Dmarts or stores have.
bhai, the blue (cheaper) Surf Excel IS good.
we have had Tide, i used it while travelling as for some reason no one used it at home.
(tide too has a cheaper variant)

with Ghadi, if warm water is used or soaked/ washed for 15-20 minutes… tgen eventually it hss similar “impact” as Ala or Vanish… on coloured cotton clothes.
maybe even makes the fibres brittle or prone to tearing within 6-8 months.. but that could be from other reasons too (i always wring them too tight and put them in direct sun to dry).
Nirma is one of the best in the low price category

mixed feelings.
mostly used for floor cleaning (snti skid tiles in wet area) by the ladies.
or to wash duster cloths, hand towels.
i have a “habit” of washing (pure) cotton clothes (and even jeans.. which has a bit of elastane/ Lycra) in warm or hot water.. more so if i sat in or travelled by public transport.
and
yes every time with Ghadi, even with garments previiusly washex 8-10 times, there still was significant colour bleeding.
i think it is just how “i” use it or maybe the caustic soda or chemical content is higher in normal Ghadi powder (not sure if they have N variants)
it DOES clean the clothes though and if blends/ synthetic garments/ repurposed bedsheets (made into kitchen dusters) are there, one can always use room temp water.
even my other family members eho sometimes try it on clothes are not soooo critical of it as me.
generally, even for bsthing bars i search if some less costly “non perfumed” options are there offline/online, so yeah the aroma/ smell (as the case may be) of Ghadi too is too flowery or enhsnced.
but that is purely subjective.
