As the new financial year and a new quarter started , HDFC has started sending the account auto upgrade invites, during march my RM had mentioned that normally on the first week of every quarter the auto push starts coming and could see the banner today in offers page

I am not taking it 
It only has benefit to the bank and higher chances of downgrade according to fellow dimers experience. But my RM said that auto upgrades such as this won’t be downgraded that easily so have to check with him next week and decide. Thanks for the tag 
This is already started from last December
The invite comes based on the eligibility criteria I suppose
Initially I was in classic progamme and now got invite to upgrade to Preferred
Classic MAB above 1 Lakh
Preferred MAB above 2 Lakh
hdfc banking progamme had started very long back itself
How many months for classic invite after account open
In my case I got the invite by the next quarter of account opening.
MAB was around 75k
How to get this invite my MAB is more than 1 lakh and still i didn’t get any invite

Big benefits to bank and not for you.. Your number will be given to a person called relationship manager who will give lecture for your money and ask you to do investments, as your money sitting in bank balance is no use but investments will grow ur balance.. These kind of lectures are part of the banking programm and they are authorized to call you..
Got preferred upgrade offer in Jan but didn’t take it. Now in offers section, I can see upgrade offer to savingsmax from current classic account. Guess I’ll be downgraded in the future

I was upgraded from classic to preferred. I already have classic platinum debit card.
Would they send preferred debit card automatically or i have to apply?
But this won’t make much difference If you already have a platinum debit card in terms of rewards
I am still using the platinum card received from instant kit during account opening

I got a invite to upgrade from Preferred to Imperia.

how much balance do you plan to keep in hdfc ?
if its in Lakhs whats the harm in upgrade.
even if they downgrade i dont think you would get charged for non Maintenance of mab
