So I want to make a list of apps that give chindhi amount of cashbacks 90% of the time but massively misadvertise or use very deceptive wording. e.g. "Up to ₹2500 cashback but give only ₹2, or "2x cashback but give only ₹3, and so on. 😂 Even when we actually buy something or do transaction of reasonable value, they advertise huge cashback but actually give very less cashback (less than even 1%). Which are these? The top 3 that come to mind are:
- MobiBhik
- CRED
- GPay
Any more? Amazon, Freecharge, Paytm in comparison give chindhi cashback less often. Bajaj is probably trying to get new customers these days so it's good sometimes.

I feel like apps like CRED are essentially lottery apps disguised as payment apps. The user is lured with the hope of winning the lottery but it's the extremely deceptive wording used that pisses me off. 2x cashback but 2x of what? 2x can be of ₹1=₹2.😂 I've seen people paying 1.5 L CC bills and getting ₹4 cashback. That's certainly very disappointing and misadvertising.
Cred is so far best for me among all cashback apps. Don't know why people say it gives very low cashback.
Paytm too bro..
I mean all apps are chindhi apps. Giving huge cashbacks is not sustainable. It is only given when acquiring customers.
Chindhi amount means
Gpay the inventor of BLNT, MobiKwik the inventor of "100% upto 10 on trs of 100", CRED inventor of "get upto 1 lakh but get 2, and 4 with 2x deal".
FreeCharge is the best, nothing to do, just enjoy timely 10-40 cashback coupons and pay every time using the existing wallet balance!!! 😍😍
And Amazon is best to pay bills, they give something that can be bearable in most of the time!
And, these days Bajaj also doing good.👍👍
OMG on what transactions people are getting ₹37, ₹19, ₹31 in CRED? That's huge compared to the standard ₹3
All apps these days
cred app is crashing since 3-4 days, unable to load any image and unable to swipe up down
Good post. 😃 I'd rate CRED and GPay at the top. Mobikwik does give Rs 50 cashback for a few offers. Paytm can be deceptive at times. Amazon is the best option among all, imo.
