Update received in mail:

As communicated earlier, Citi reached an agreement with Axis Bank for the sale of Citi’s consumer business in India, on March 30, 2022. We are pleased to now inform you that Citi and Axis Bank will be completing the sale on March 1, 2023 (“Transfer Date”).

At the present moment, all our services will continue to function seamlessly.

The products and services that you currently hold with Citi will remain Citi-branded till around the second-half of 2024 or until further notification from Axis Bank.

Your Bank account number, Credit / Debit Card numbers, cheque books, IFSC, MICR codes remain the same.

You can continue to use the Citi Mobile® App or Citibank Online for all your banking needs. You can also reach out to CitiPhone and your relationship teams, as you currently do, at the same numbers.

There is no change, at this time, to the earning ratio and redemption process of your reward points, across both Citi Credit and Debit Cards.

If you hold an insurance policy availed through us, the policy features remain the same and will continue to be serviced by Axis Bank. Kindly note that Citibank will be surrendering its Corporate Agency License (IRDAI composite license code: CA0086) with no implications on your existing policy

I got citi premier miles hoping I will get similar cc from axis without having to pay for annual charge? Should I change it or hope that axis will change my card before 2024?

I got citi rewards card, changed from paytm citi.

I thought it'll be migrated to axis by this year and no need to pay annual charge.

Now they're telling no change til 2024, is it worth keeping citi rewards?

Is there any way to get ltf from citi?

If you call them and ask for closure of Rewards card, they will transfer to Closure department. And the closing dept can provide Citi IndianOil card as LTF.

They were doing this till recently, you can try ur luck if you are ok with IndianOil card.
