Closing Slice credit card problem

Not sure how many of you would have already requested for closure for Slice credit card. But recently I got to know about the assumptions and apprehension that were attached to slice credit card.
Alot of experts shared that it shows as a two-way unsecured loan on your CIBIL and in case you mess up or delay or for that matter do anything which could be accidentally wrong then your CIBIL gets impacted bi a huge number.

As I already had many cards and a good CIBIL score I decided to close slice, to my surprise, it’s been a month my card is still not closed and I have not been given the no due certificate till today and they are are delaying it for no reason.

Can anyone tell me what can be done at this situation if you have already closed your card or any experience that you want to share.

I think they haven’t even worked out the closure process …😂

When I closed my unused Uni Card the executive told me sir you are the 1st person to close ..even their process was not ready…they took 2 months to close.. luckily I didn’t followed nor it came on my report.

I want slice to show up on my credit card so I can build credit score but it’s not showing.
And you want to close it but you can’t.

It takes time to reflect or maybe it’s updated and you are relying on old report..

@mackmad i recently closed 4-5 comsumer loan(pay later)
No one gave NOC, but all are showing as closed account.
Bajaj did drama so i raised dispute and they also closed now.
Should i ask them for NOC 🤔

Yes I also feel the same. But I read they have to issue me a NOC, which states that I have no dues pending to nbfc

As per cc, they take 45 days to issue noc .. and another 45 days to reflect in cibil.

NOC is mandatory in case of NBFC, else it could go a long long way as an open item to your CIBIL

I have also started closing consumer loans. I closed useless paytm postpaid, & some payer offer by wallets. I keep flipkart paylater & amazon paylater just getting occasional cashbacks. Also going to close ICICI platinum FD card next month once I RP are credited.

Exactly my point.
I have started to go away from these fancy offers which eventually are at a stake of big financial risk.
So I am avoiding and closing.
Already closed Paytm Postpaid, Amazon Pay later and now this Slice. But not able to get the NOC till date.
