Hi guys, would like to understand the documents required for closure of the MTNL landline – Mumbai Region. Thanks in advance.

write an application to MTNL for closure take the instrument if it is of MTNL if your own then no need to give.
at the office they will check if any outstanding or deposit and will let u now the amount
within 3 days they will disconnect the line and after few months you will get the deposit cheque at the address

@amdoinggood123 It took me more than 3 months for them to reverse my deposit 
Good that I stopped using this since I was just paying 236 rs per month for just receiving incoming calls
