Confused between airtel Xstream basic and premium

i want to buy a hybrid set top box for my parents.. one that can play both live tv channels as well as OTT content – Amazon prime, Zee5, MXplayer, hotstar, YOUTUBE, etc.
i already have subscription for most OTT platforms and hence don’t want it bundled with the device..
available options:
1. airtel Xstream basic (rs 2500)
2. airtel Xstream premium (Rs. 4900)
doubts:
a. will Xstream Basic also play Hotstar, netflix, prime, etc. if I already have their subscription separately or do I need to choose Option 2 only..
b. do i need to ensure that all my OTT subscriptions have the same mobile number as airtel DTH
c. will my xstream app content provided for having airtel postpaid number (airtel Thanks) also be a part of the xstream basic box.. or do i need to take Rs. 999 subscription separately for that.
please suggest if there is any other better hybrid Set top box i should go for…
PS: i don’t have a smart tv

All Xstream devices need a separate working Airtel DTH connection to work and you need to pay for DTH in addition to all OTT. Its the biggest fraud.
Just buy a firestick and get the OTT subscriptions. If you already have the subscriptions then even better. Overall cost would be much lower. You can get live channels through Zee5, Sonyliv, Disney+ and Voot Select.
everything is waste. mi tv box plus thop tv is best 
i am already paying Hathway for live channels… is Airtel DTH costlier than hathway cable…?
airtel Xstream costs 2.5k/ 4.9 k but firestick itself costs 4k.
Firestick was available in Diwali sale for less than 2K
