Yea, not just blaming MP ppl… There’s tons of jerks like that in Assam too.
Esp the new in laws of my cousin, they won’t take her unless my uncle throw a BIG CROWDED reception party with every single one of the ppl they know and related from the groom’s side.
Despite telling them we lost 4 ppl to covid19 2-3 months ago.
Nobody gives a f**k to corona until it gets their ass the hard way.

We are one and only responsible for these social ignorance by educated illiterates. No use of blaming them.. we lost our unity, culture, genuine, etc and we are simply ignoring everything that someone will correct their wrong attitude and adjusting the society all day. It’s karma so it will be back for sure.
No use of blaming others.. because we are all the sole reason for all social activities. (either good or bad)

Only way out is – take vaccine.

Uk and usa dumped all covid restrictions .

Now its peoples choice.

Remain unvaccinated and remain in risk

Or

Be vaccinated and live normal life.

Corona hamesha rehne wala hai – now be accustomed to it.

// Please bring print receipts of Darshan Booking, Covid Vaccinated or RT-PCR with you //

Organize events ( Open Invitation to all the people to get out of their homes ) and continue to play with people’s lives. Even without the involvement of
VIPs, how different this one’s gonna end?
+ A vaccination certification can guarantee a 60-70% success against the delta variant. Is it enough to get a permit for crowd gathering?? ( RT-PCR or Vaccine certificate requirement makes sense for essential activities.. but for optional activities too? )

// Up to 3,500 devotees are permitted to enter the premises between 6 am and 8 pm. There are seven time slots of two hours each, with 500 people allowed in each slot.

We will sit and plan for next Monday. Covid protocol cannot be followed in the kind of free-for-all we had today. There were also too many people in one go. We will revise the plan. We will ensure social distancing," Ujjain District Collector Ashish Singh said //

What’s the point now?
Life doesn’t give second chances always!!

Yeah.. they can blame the VIPs for the lapses & the select group of careless people but even if a couple of the devotees are infected / w/o enough antibodies.. the results would be catastrophic
and God knows, where these devotees will end up after the temple visit

Again.. getting out of their homes, infecting colleagues & neighbors is one thing
Attending public events (w/ much higher risk of getting infected or spreading the virus) is a complete different one

There is no Normalcy w/ or w/o vaccine anytime soon
Especially when people are interested in organizing crowd gatherings and in participating them

CDC was over-confident (Even allowed people to roam Mask-Free) because the Pfizer vaccine had 98% efficacy against the initial COVID variants and now with the delta variant (which accounts to 80% of the COVID cases in US right now).. the efficacy is down to 60-70%.. More ignorance (w/ or w/o vaccination) will result in another 2020 crisis for them

Two of my cousins getting married next month… and it will be like there is NO CORONA. Am sure because – the bride and groom are youngest in their respective families…. so, the parents won’t be doing any less for the marriage. And I cannot skip attending this.. 😐😐😐

AstraZeneca proving efficient in uk to prevent death.
Cases sky rocketed but death remained low and in last 3 day cases also dropping a lot.

We should be seeing uk figures closely as we are Inoculating with Covishield.

As of now trend is pretty Encouraging.

I can relate this, bro. I had to face the same dilemma you’re in. I had to attend the wedding of one of my cousins against my wish. And family be like, what can we do, there’s no other way. We’ll take full precautions. But then in the ceremony, almost everyone stayed without masks. Even when I wore the mask, others were asking me to take it off, because it looks odd.

Bhai/sis , skip it. I’m skipping and managed to get my parents to skip it too.
I talked with my uncle, aunty and cousin about it and they understood the reason.
Let the groom’s family and friends suffer the consequences alone.

We get 50 vaccine vials per week in our centre, compared to the massive population and there are still many ppl in villages and towns where ppl will kill you if you go there to give vaccines.
For months, bodo villagers get their daggers out if any govt doctors try to talk about vaccination.

Why vaccinated people suffer if anti vaxers dose not want to take vaccines?

Now uk and usa did right thing.

Whatever country you live in, whatever the Vaccine shot u take.. this is common

Delta variant is capable of infecting/re-infecting people many folds than the alpha variant

// Between 21 June and 19 July, 1,788 people were admitted to hospital after testing positive for Delta. Of these, 54% were unvaccinated while 30% had received both shots. In total, 3,692 people have so far been admitted to hospital with the Delta variant, of whom 2,152 (58%) were unvaccinated and 843 (23%) were fully vaccinated //

COVID isn’t just about death, even with mild infections you might end up with complications for life.
+ the data available on delta variant (Infection/Re-infection) is still limited, the efficacy rate of existing vaccines on it could be much lower in reality. So, until there’s some clarity it is best to mask, maintain social distancing & avoid super spreader events.
Even if the re-infection rate is higher only among the 60+, it is something to ignore ( Lifting restrictions is a disaster recipe )

Govts encouraging people to get Vaccinated.
But people are refusing in usa. Usa not even reached 60% inoculation despite having abundance of vaccines.

In karnataka now 35% got atleast one dose and 9% is fully vaccinated. But now most of vaccine Centre not getting people. How can you force these people to get vaccine?
Now its there karma. They don’t want to believe science. Now at least allow fully vaccinated people to lead normal life.

I don’t think panic is necessary from those data.

Yester day uk case figure dropped to 24000 from from high of 60000 despite everything is open. Yesterday death figure is just 14.these are official uk figure.

https://mobile.twitter.com/PHE_uk/status/141968...

In real life incidence vaccine proving very effective in preventing hospitalisation and death.

I am not concerned about case numbers. I am closely watching hospitalisation and death figures of uk as they are used AstraZeneca same as us.

I agree but crowds are hotspots for variations. And I believe we are almost in the middle of Greek alphabets by the end of this year.
Plus, ancient microbes are getting revived thanks to thawing of permafrost in many places.
So maybe zombie apocalypse like situation isn’t going to be fiction anymore expressionless

As of now efficacy of vaccines are proven only in laboratories. There’s no field data to confirm whether there’s any assured antibodies formation after vaccination. Even after taking both doses, thousands of doctors and medical personnel have died due to Covid. So even after vaccination, it is necessary to take all possible protective measures.

The present temporary respite in number of cases is possibly due to the cyclic behaviour of the virus, which mutates and activates in waves.

Even now daily new Covid cases as 40-50,000 per day are being recorded in the country. While Govt has allowed travel in trains, flights, metro, buses etc. and examinations, that doesn’t indicate that the risk has vanished. These measures are simply to take advantage of the temporary decrease in cases, so that people can earn livelihoods.

It’s the responsibility of every citizen to respond based on their own compulsions, without assuming that Covid infection will not increase immediately. The risk still remains, irrespective of the vaccination, which is just an additional safety precaution and not a guarantee. The next wave of infection can arrive at any time, without any advance warning. By the time we realize it’s arrived (takes two weeks for symptoms to appear) millions would already be infected.

I am ready to get booster vaccine dose every year for newly mutated virus to lead normal life. 😂

There is no running away from covid now. It will remain with us at least for few years. 😌

The above post also includes the data about hospitalizations post Vaccination ( Twin doses ) and the high risk factor attached to the new mutant ( delta )
-
Getting panicked & being carefull ( Post Vaccination ) are two different things. When there isn’t enough data (real-life incidents*) to analyse, nothing wrong in staying extra cautious – Mandatory Masking, Maintaining social distancing, Avoiding Super Spreader events ( Organizing & being part of )
-
It doesn’t mean, you can avoid “Vaccination” because a percentage of people might get re-infected,
/ hospitalized / die
^^ Like I said, its a precautionary measure.. unless your doctor suggests otherwise, there’s no reason for someone to not take a vaccine ( based on random stats online* ) & being vaccinated doesn’t mean.. people can do whatever they want to.
