Yea, not just blaming MP pplā€¦ Thereā€™s tons of jerks like that in Assam too.
Esp the new in laws of my cousin, they wonā€™t take her unless my uncle throw a BIG CROWDED reception party with every single one of the ppl they know and related from the groomā€™s side.
Despite telling them we lost 4 ppl to covid19 2-3 months ago.
Nobody gives a f**k to corona until it gets their ass the hard way.

We are one and only responsible for these social ignorance by educated illiterates. No use of blaming them.. we lost our unity, culture, genuine, etc and we are simply ignoring everything that someone will correct their wrong attitude and adjusting the society all day. Itā€™s karma so it will be back for sure.
No use of blaming others.. because we are all the sole reason for all social activities. (either good or bad)

Only way out is ā€“ take vaccine.

Uk and usa dumped all covid restrictions .

Now its peoples choice.

Remain unvaccinated and remain in risk

Or

Be vaccinated and live normal life.

Corona hamesha rehne wala hai ā€“ now be accustomed to it.

There is no Normalcy w/ or w/o vaccine anytime soon
Especially when people are interested in organizing crowd gatherings and in participating them

CDC was over-confident (Even allowed people to roam Mask-Free) because the Pfizer vaccine had 98% efficacy against the initial COVID variants and now with the delta variant (which accounts to 80% of the COVID cases in US right now).. the efficacy is down to 60-70%.. More ignorance (w/ or w/o vaccination) will result in another 2020 crisis for them

// Please bring print receipts of Darshan Booking, Covid Vaccinated or RT-PCR with you //

Organize events ( Open Invitation to all the people to get out of their homes ) and continue to play with peopleā€™s lives. Even without the involvement of
VIPs, how different this oneā€™s gonna end?
+ A vaccination certification can guarantee a 60-70% success against the delta variant. Is it enough to get a permit for crowd gathering?? ( RT-PCR or Vaccine certificate requirement makes sense for essential activities.. but for optional activities too? )

// Up to 3,500 devotees are permitted to enter the premises between 6 am and 8 pm. There are seven time slots of two hours each, with 500 people allowed in each slot.

We will sit and plan for next Monday. Covid protocol cannot be followed in the kind of free-for-all we had today. There were also too many people in one go. We will revise the plan. We will ensure social distancing," Ujjain District Collector Ashish Singh said //

Whatā€™s the point now?
Life doesnā€™t give second chances always!!

Yeah.. they can blame the VIPs for the lapses & the select group of careless people but even if a couple of the devotees are infected / w/o enough antibodies.. the results would be catastrophic
and God knows, where these devotees will end up after the temple visit

Again.. getting out of their homes, infecting colleagues & neighbors is one thing
Attending public events (w/ much higher risk of getting infected or spreading the virus) is a complete different one

Two of my cousins getting married next monthā€¦ and it will be like there is NO CORONA. Am sure because ā€“ the bride and groom are youngest in their respective familiesā€¦. so, the parents wonā€™t be doing any less for the marriage. And I cannot skip attending this.. šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

I can relate this, bro. I had to face the same dilemma youā€™re in. I had to attend the wedding of one of my cousins against my wish. And family be like, what can we do, thereā€™s no other way. Weā€™ll take full precautions. But then in the ceremony, almost everyone stayed without masks. Even when I wore the mask, others were asking me to take it off, because it looks odd.

It took a pandemic to realise the attention seeking and common sense lacking nature of Indians? Sorry, got that long ago. Clowns and Indians are synonyms.

As of now efficacy of vaccines are proven only in laboratories. Thereā€™s no field data to confirm whether thereā€™s any assured antibodies formation after vaccination. Even after taking both doses, thousands of doctors and medical personnel have died due to Covid. So even after vaccination, it is necessary to take all possible protective measures.

The present temporary respite in number of cases is possibly due to the cyclic behaviour of the virus, which mutates and activates in waves.

Even now daily new Covid cases as 40-50,000 per day are being recorded in the country. While Govt has allowed travel in trains, flights, metro, buses etc. and examinations, that doesnā€™t indicate that the risk has vanished. These measures are simply to take advantage of the temporary decrease in cases, so that people can earn livelihoods.

Itā€™s the responsibility of every citizen to respond based on their own compulsions, without assuming that Covid infection will not increase immediately. The risk still remains, irrespective of the vaccination, which is just an additional safety precaution and not a guarantee. The next wave of infection can arrive at any time, without any advance warning. By the time we realize itā€™s arrived (takes two weeks for symptoms to appear) millions would already be infected.
