Actually it is not just one of case , there are many other cases , where police without verifying much file the case and even
they say , u should fight in court to prove your innocence as we have less time to study the case as 50% of there time is
spent on VVIP duty ..like some area CM is coming , sometimes minister is coming , sometimes some vote duty …..
So, it is very very much …you must not fight with them even for small thing like challan …on road ….as you never know ..they might file a fake case against you …and then it is very very long process of getting justice from courts …also very costly …as not only you will
have to spend considerable amount of time in courts add to it 50k-2l as lawyer expenses …

It is better to pay 1000-2000rs on spot to police personal rather than thinking about getting justice from courts …as Court thing will
cost you Boom add to it harrasment!!

Lol police: they biggest criminals of the nation. There are so many incidents like this which don’t even make the news. Taking bribe from the actual criminal, filing an FIR against the victim and turning the victim as criminal- that’s how the system works. Once you turn a criminal you have to spend many years in court to prove your innocence (and imagine this is happening to a senior citizen widow who never even been to police station let alone court). And if the real criminal is well off then the judge will be bought too, in that case you are going to remain a criminal and may face jail time even. While the real criminal lives on ever happily. This entire corrupt system needs to be uprooted; don’t see how it’s possible without a revolution though.

i agree, that 3.5Million is a big amount, but come on: they aren’t the ‘biggest’.
