Covid Vaccination Question
Suppose a family has 3 people: 2 elders (60+) and 1 mid-age (40). Elders get vaccination 2nd dose and come back home. So is it that they can still get infected but symptoms will be less severe?
Suppose when they come home after 2nd dose, they get infected on the way back (asymptomatic). How will the mid-age person manage in the home (because he has taken no vaccine)? He can get severe symptoms from the elders returning after 2nd dose vaccine?
Or is it that after 1st dose, the person does not transmit the virus forward?
Or is my thinking wrong?

we cant predict any thing…..it depends on the immunity of the person
Vaccination mostly saves from severe complications arising out of infection. Vaccinated person can get infected & infect others. Since the other person in your example is not vaccinated he will be vulnerable to severe complications. Whether he gets serious complications depends on many factors like his innate immunity, strain of virus, viral load and many other factors.
Your body starts developing antibodies after 2-3 weeks from first dose
Considering that you get the second dose after 4-8 weeks, less likely that they will get infected on the wayback (it’s still possible though.. The no. of antibodies your body produces post vaccination varies from person to person)
As far as symptoms are considered, there is no data
OK. Say elders get it. But midage guy C stays in his own room only. When he comes out, then he wears surgical mask. He comes out to fill water bottle only. Food is prepared by elder person A/B. A/B also washes utensils.
Now in this situation, how can midage guy C minimize exposure? The only interaction with A/B is food. Elders A/B cannot quarantine in their own room for 15d.
Vaccination will only save you from hospital admissions mostly.
I am aged 25 and got both dose almost more than 1 month back but currently i am covid positive with symptoms of fever, loss of smell and occasional cough…
Fever dropped off after 2 days and loss of smell is still there..
So those in young age dont rush to get vaccinated because you may get covid while getting vaccinated if there is too much rush.
If vaccination centre is managed well go ahead and get vaccinated for sure.
Vaccine does not guarantee that person will not get disease. Some people are suggesting that severity is reduced

60+ will survive corona with less severity. Also no post covid effects too.
Vaccines does not sto corona infection, it helps immune system to fight corona after getting infected.
From what I know and from readings, after second dose chances goes to minimum for death and no severity for 60+ but there is time period for that too after taking 2nd dose.
Mid age 40 person will be infected from them but as no vaccination done, severity depends on his immune system.
Infection from 60+, after 1st dose or 2nd dose does not mean anything. It’s virus it will be spreaded as new born thing.
Also vaccines are taken on body, we don’t get dosage from mouth where corona enters. So it’s not destroyed it stays with you without harming you, after 2nd dose.
After 1st dose immune system still in training mode so severity chances are more.
