With the varied numbers of credit cards and the terms and conditions attached, here is an honest overview of the rewards (and how to analyse yourself) – whether the rewards are worth it in real or just marketing gimmick.
There are other websites and forum too on this topic, however my contribution is for DD Dosts to help them – underlying principle will be to maximize returns on cash in terms of cash itself, or vouchers equivalent to cash.
Factors that will be considered for each card are
1. Fees, including comments if the same can be taken free for life.
2. Best categories for earning highest rewards.
3. Best redemption options – in cash or equivalent to cash – not to include gifts/merchandise.
Terms used:
LTF = Life Time Free
Power Ratio is the money value of benefits in % – so if a card has ratio of 2.5% in fuel, it means you get benefit of Rs. 2.50 per Rs. 100 spent.

I have HSBC, Amex express membership rewards card, Indusind Aura and hdfc all miles CC.
I am looking to close a couple and get a new card, which gives me more rewards.
Suggestions ?
lets start the discussion :
1. Amex membership reward: 1000rs spent → 20 point → 2.4 conversion (18K gives 7.5K Rs. statement credit) → 8Rs (Extra rewards: 1000 points on 4 swipe per month)
+ Very aggressive marketing strategy. Looks one of best) / Year Free waiver upon spent 1.5L per year)
2. SC Manhattan : 1000rs spent → 20 point → 3.6 conversion → Rs 5 as amazon voucher (1000rs amazon voucher from 3600 point) → 5.5 amozon GC ( extra : 5% Statement credit max 150 per transaction on few Grocery stores). Lifetime free.
3. ICICI corals: 1000rs spent → 20 point → 4 conversion →Rs 5 as payback reward. ( Extra: BookMyshow: buy 1 get 1 movie ticket). Lifetime free
Please add yours to understand these better
Icici Rubyx American Express: 1000 Rs → 30 points → Rs 7.5 statement credit

Minor correction to SBI SimplyClick benefits.
2.5% on Ola
https://www.desidime.com/forums/dost-and-dimes/...
Edit: Also, they updated T&C to say wallet transactions on partners will not accrue 10x rewards, and they cited this reason for not issuing 10x rewards for Amazon Pay Auto Reload txns via SimplyClick cards.
Amazon shopping txns continue to earn 10x rewards (2.5% in Rupee terms)
Amazon Pay Auto Reloads (haven’t tested AddMoney) earn the normal rate for Online txns (5x or 1.25% in Rupee terms)
Any transaction will earn 2.5% on Amazon, be it wallet load .
Anybody got the full excel file from OP ? Can you please share the file here
