Credit card bill payment: unable to trace payment

Guys,
I have paid the Axis bank credit card bill payment on 02 Nov through Paytm .
Paytm gave me confirmation that payment has been deposited to bank and provided me bank reference number.

But Axis Bank denying receiving any payment. They said they can't trace the fund using that bank reference number.
What to do. Please suggest

I pay directly from my bank to the credit card company via neft. I always get the credit message from credit company on same day itself. The problem is when u pay via third party payment site. Pay directly and live a peaceful life bro

In december, 2020 I made similar mistake of paying 50000/- to 8509 whereas correct number is 8059. Unfortunately with these both numbers cards are in existence (by initiating a transaction we can check it, if page goes upto otp means card is there with that number). Then I tweeted Axs support team, they asked so many documents viz., payment deduction reflecting (source bank) statement, transaction confirmation (mobikwik) statement, correct card statement & it's image. To initiate the process, they took lot of time but once its initiated it hardly a matter of 7 days to verify and transfer that credit from unintended to correct card. That one month was a sleepless to me. In this entire process, mobikwik didn't helped even a inch, entire help was done Axis bank only. Since then, I am taking utmost care.

I also registered a complaint in RBI and wrote to nodal officers of both Paytm and Axis bank.lets see. Final option is I have to file a legal case with lawyer.

Connect with paytm and tell them to give more proof, or Connect with axis and slove the matter asap.

Mine too .. paid via cred and get successfull but not reflected on axis  . complaint on axis ... 7 days crossed...always work in progress rage

Paid late night? (11pm/12am). Cred payments are not always instant during this period, instead of IMPS they process bill payments via NEFT. Anyways payment should reflect in your cc statement very soon (with settlement date same as bill payment one or next day*)

Paid on 5th nov... Statement also generated on 15th without considering my payment sweat

No hope for auto-settlement then, money got stuck somewhere (Max it took 7/8 days for payment reflection in my case and for others here). Need intervention from Cred or bank

Complaint on axis .. but no proper response whats happened. . just registered complaint ..and says we are checking from past 5 working days

What is the status on cred, Status about bank confirmation
U can check it from payment history Take screenshot as it must not be confirmed by bank yet
and write to cred along with cc statement and demand refund

Cred asking a email from axis... Payment is not received for the utr no.

So why axis is not giving you that eamil? If it is not shown tgey should give in writing

U can also file the complaint on npci web with utr
In any case auto refund for such cases takes 3-4 weeks

After 3 week of struggle, Paytm nodal officers finally called me and asked my card number saying they will verify with backend. 2 dys back they told me that you hve entered wrong card number and payment credited towards different card and not your card.

I m asking Paytm to tell me which card they credited the payment but chor Paytm denying me sharing information citing privacy reasons.

This is completely fraud.

How can I trust Paytm that they are saying i have entered wrong card number if they are not providing me the details.

That's why also pay to card company directly and prefer to pay via neft, cause once details are saved, there is no chance of payment to some other account.....

You don't require account in the same bank (Axis in your case ) to pay your CC via NEFT.
