I have a HDFC credit card with 20000rs monthly limit. Can I buy an item worth 30000rs with no cost emi for 9 months given by merchant? The Monthly installment would be 3.5k approx.

No,,you cannot purchase over your credit limit…You can do 1 thing,,make payment of 10k to your credit card and its credit limit will become 30k..then you can buy item on emi.
