I made a transaction on 11th for X amount on a website and chose EMI option. Two days later since it was my billing day and emi was not converted yet, I manually converted the transaction to EMI through phone banking, that day later the original transaction also got converted to EMI and now I see two EMI and have been charged twice.
i asked ICICI and explained them the same thing, they closed one emi and charged the entire amount in one go while the other emi is still active. Please help me out on this, ICICI isn’t understanding.

It happened with YesBank and they sent me net payable amount(after converting to EMI) over email though original stmt carried full amount before EMI conversion.
I insisted for updated bill but that was not possible, then got updated bill amount thru email just for safety though I was told amount due over call.
Just ask them net amount to pay in email.
