Credit Card for a Low salaried person -monthly income 20k?

Hello Dimers,
May I know the name of any credit card which has the highest chances of approval for a person whose monthly salary is only 20k?
My friend has a 20k monthly salary and he doesn’t have any bank balance too.
Recently, many banks have stopped issuing credit cards to the persons with monthly income below 25k.
Is there any way to still grab one without a lot of struggle (without making fd and opening new banking a/c with 25-50k balance etc) as he doesn’t have a lot of savings.
Please suggest guys.

ohh ..did not read the non FD criteria…one thing if ur friend dont have savings..then dont fall for credit card…many dimers are there to help you during offers
Try SBI simply click lot of chances if itr is filed, it may be with low limit

If this is a Salary Account, where there is regular credit, he can take a shot and apply for a credit card, usually you would get it, but with mounting pending credit card debt, Banks are extremely cautious even with existing card owners and reducing their limits.
That said, here’s my advice, if someone is not able to make ends meet, they need to cut their expenditure/expenses NOT get a Credit Card.
Getting a Credit card with limited Finances is a huge mistake and will push the individual into a debt trap which keeps spiraling with huge interest rates.

yes icici platinum card against FD is lifetime free…u can create through imobile..its pretty simple but dont forget to apply credit card while creating this FD….and about BOB…BOB card is one of the best card one should have..in 5-6 month only earner/saved more than 7k from this..and its free for me…i have almost all good cards like icici amazon, fk axis, etc

Coming to your question now, Is his salary account linked with HDFC ? if yes, then you will easily get HDFC freedom cc. Below is the main condition for the same (should be a LTF CC if it’s a salaried account)

21 to 60 years of age with Gross Monthly Income > ₹12,000

His salary account is with IDBI bank and his company denied his request to shift the salary account to any other bank. They have some corporate tie up with IDBI bank only.
Shall I tell him to look for IDBI credit cards? Maybe they will give him one.

You can easily get sbi simply save and hdfc Indian oil one. The second card will be useless on sales day.
Can I apply for bob fd based cc thr online?

Loan is for those who don’t need it. Credit card is for those who already have same amount of in their savings account. Follow these rules and you are good to go.
My friend bought a 24k mobile phone with local shop providing EMI on Mobile with monthly EMI of something like 2500 per month. He ended up paying 35k at the end of the year for a 24k mobile.
Hdfc is not accepting my friend’s credit card application. They said their bank is strictly following the minimum 25k in hand salary criteria.
However, friend has submitted his application for SBI credit card through paisabazar.com. Document pickup is done. Card status is shown as " In Progress".
I will update here if his card gets approved.

start with FD based cards which are free and rewarding also..like BOB prime, ICICI platinum against instasave FD account….bob prime is very good…1% cashback on all transaction in form of reward points and Life time free also.
