Now I order something online for 20k and cancel it now 20k will get credited to cc. If they consider this 20k as payment then it’s a loss to cc company. So they won’t consider refund as payment.
But then refund is for transactions to be included in next billing cycle.. so, refund to be considered next time only..
But for transactions done before the bill generation, refund should be considered.. they should take in account the transaction against which refund is credited
Like say I place an order for about 40k, which later get refunded (due to cancellation or due to transaction failure as happens sometime)..
So, i will have to undertake a second transaction of 40k.. and will have to pay 80k for bills.. even if outstanding will be adjusted next time but i will have to bear unnecessary burden this time.. in such case why would one use CC as they are supposed to help with financial management..
