it’s not applicable on recharges and Bill pay

I wonder if they give 5 percent CB for mobiles (that’s not on the no CB https://cdn0.desidime.com/attachments/photos/636473/medium/Screenshot_2020-09-13-11-25-25-184_com.sbi.lotusintouch.jpg?1599976630list)

Yes, for yono cashback – recharges, bill payments, gift cards and select mobiles are excluded. Mobile exclusion list gets updated regularly.

Still…. I can’t think of any other cc which gives max benefits for online shopping and can easily achieve annual spend limit

Same question.

ok now everything comes with some way and avoiding otherS, whAt i mention is the best scenario foR percentage condition, so YOU may use it in a way that it will earn 0%, so the answer should be a range of 0%-7.5% depending upon how u use it and on which product… HOW ?HOW ?HOW ?here is HOW ?HOW? HOW?

1.have a SBI a/c
2.get internet banking
3.login yono sbi website

Decide card as per where do u spend the most..having so many cards is a headache to keep track of payments.. n if you miss….oh boy.. the bank will recover more than u have saved with them

If you r primarily shopping on Amazon – amazon ICICI + SBI are good to have. But if you are shopping on Myntra n zomato, then SC digismart is good to have… SC manhattan is good (5% cashback) if you shop for a lot of groceries directly at the stores (Natures Basket, Fine foods, Big bazaar n all)..mostly I order groceries via bigbasket and typically citi rewards + payzapp wallet gives a better deal at the comfort of my home.

You can read siddharth’s blog on credit cards n keep the ones which suit your spending pattern – https://www.cardexpert.in/author/sidd...h/

For cashback on bill payment – Use Payzapp – 5% cashback on(electricity/ rent/water) & 10% cashback on DTH & mobile bill payment (pre-paid n postpaid)
You can use HDFC Millenia to load the wallet – Gives 1% cashback .. I have SC ultimate which give me a 3.3% return. Total saving is min 8.3% on bill payments smile

It says here that 5% is NOT applicable on “all gift cards”, still it’s coming on buying amazon gift cards (someone said 7.5% effective cashback)??

@mihir2812711 if you are open to credit cards with yearly fees, you can try for HDFC Diners Black.

Best card and it would replace your SBI prime and may be many other cards. Annual fees is high but waiver at 5L. So, if can spend 5L+, it will be a no brainer.

Your SBI prime is a paid card, right ?

Wrong information, only 2% for insurance payment.

Diners black is still some time away.

Based on opinions here, I am planning to close Prime (3.5K cost which is reversed based on spend) and Millenia (1K fee which is also reversed) and get Diners Club Privilege (2.5K fee) and AMEX MRCC (free first year and renewal will also be free based on spend).

Diners Privilege is my gateway to Diners Black. MRCC is gateway to AMEX Gold. Eventually plan to do (1000*10) transactions every month and accumulate rewards jointly.

Please advice.

Yes by first buying amazon gift cards & then using them to pay but it is a risky method if not done honestly.aka do not spend more than your amazonpay card limit in a month & do not add amazon GVs to any acc other than your amazonpay card linked amazon acc. Also a regular person is not expected to pay more than 1 lakh insurance premium in a year(aka don’t start paying insurance premium of your entire neighbourhood/strangers from your own acc).

If you are able to meet spend criteria for Prime and get fees waiver, better keep it until you can get DCB. 3.33% reward is pretty good. You can take Amex MRCC for monthly milestone benefits but very few promotions otherwise.
Don’t apply or cancel too many cards together. Keep some time gap between them. There would be a hit on your credit score when you close card, so better apply a new one before you close.

If you need referral for MRCC, pm me. Will share the referral benefit.
