Both. Debit has an overall monthly limit of 400, while credit card has 750 limit.

Also add to wallet is in multiples of 100.

However in many cases, if you have an HDFC millenia card and the transaction size is over 2k, it’s better to do the purchase without loading wallet separately as millenia gives 2.5% in such cases. Study about the card a bit to understand its benefits.

As per Regalia’s T&C there is no reward point on wallet loading.

  • EasyEMI and e-wallet loading transactions will not accrue Reward Points.

Personally verified by me.
There is a disconnect between the tnc writer and the executor, in case of hdfc.

The tnc are for denying the cb/rewards when you approach ccare.

That is because of increasing misuse. I have never seen genuine spenders adding/spending more than 10k from wallets in a month, it is always money rotators who add/spend tens of thousands to even lakh from e-wallets every month & it is such people when reaches a significant number cause card companies to stop/decrease wallet transaction rewards.
