IS-inspired terror group planned to poison maha prasad, kill 400 Hindu devotees in Mumbra temple: ATS – India News – https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/terror-gr...
What you are trying to say?
Terror group means Muslims?
Looks like a staged drama, for publicity stunt,
This is the new mantra of social media gurus do anything, stoop to any level but always be in limelight.
Yes in fact you won’t see the ads in traditional media. I hate to see zomato infested Youtube. It seems their publicity department is run by some marwadi….
#boycottzomato and #IStandWithAmit trending on twitter
Why only twitter
Andh bhakts can trend anything anywhere just like some shit bags trended #RIPActorVijay some days back
Timing seems to be wrong which is why we are at peace
Lol, he is MBA qualified. See his bio in Twitter.
“I am hurt, but what can I do… we are poor people,” said the Muslim delivery executive from food aggregator Zomato who is a key character in the raging debate on social media over bigotry.
Faiyaz, a food delivery executive with Zomato, was assigned the task of completing an order placed by Amit Shukla, a resident of Jabalpur.
However, on Tuesday night, Shukla tweeted about cancelling his order placed on Zomato as the designated rider was a ‘non-Hindu’.
The company stood its ground and refused to change the delivery executive.
‘Food doesn’t have a religion. It is a religion,’ the company tweeted in response to the customer’s request for change of the rider.
Narrating the sequence of events, Faiyaz said, “I called the person who had placed the order to know the location of his house. But he said he had cancelled the order.”
Asked about the customer’s refusal to take delivery from him, the Zomato executive admitted he is feeling hurt over whatever happened.
“Han hurt to hue hai. Ab kya bolenge sir, ab log jaisa bolenge..sahi hai is par kya kar sakte hai gareeb log hai… sahna padega sir (Yes I feel hurt. What can I say sir, whatever people say…its okay what I can do in it… we are poor, we have suffer),” he said.
On the other hand, Shukla appeared unrepentant.
‘Do my freedom of expression and religion not fall under the idea of India?’ he said when a news channel asked him about his reaction to Zomato’s reply to his request to change the rider.
“At present, the pious month of Shravan is going on and it is a matter of my personal choice,” Shukla said, justifying his stand.
Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal echoed his company’s stand with a firm message.
‘We are proud of the idea of India — and the diversity of our esteemed customers and partners. We aren’t sorry to lose any business that comes in the way of our values,’ he tweeted.
Zomato’s response won it many admirers.
What the hell. #boycottUberEats & #boycottzomato are trending. This shows padhe likhe anpad.
@getready By the way how ubereats comes to this? Any idea?
Probably=?
Snapchat=Snapdeal
Surf Excel = MS excel
Zomato = Ubereats
Meanwhile Swiggy :-
This will only come to bite them. The more controversy you create the more harm it will do. Zomato tried to encash on it by quoting the Comment instead of replying to it like they usually do. And because of this more people will post about them. And that has led to Halal Jhatka, Veg-Non Veg debate etc that food has Religion. But if it was limited to this then it was net Positive for the company but then Screenshots are being shared about refunds to Muslim Customers for Jhatka etc. Screenshot of Zomato hiding Pork from Menu is being shared. So they have made enemy out of both sides.
Do you see Snapdeal now? They also tried to encash on wokeness and now they’re nowhere.
Surf Excel, I will expect that there will be some fall in sales in Feb & March. But it was smart in removing the Ads from most channels and limited its run to just Premium/English channels so that otherside doesn’t start a campaign.
As a Marketing enthusiasts I don’t know whether I should laugh at them or cry for their stupidity.
My point being that unless you’re niche Woke Company, these tactics does more harm than good. If Swiggy is smart they’ll not touch this Outrage with even with 500 feet pole and instead go to bank with it.
