dcb debit card pos limit issue

I recently opened DCB Elite account in view of utilizing 1.6% cashback via cred.
After the account is activated, the card is not working. Upon calling the customer care, the agent informed the POS limit is set to 0. After raising a service request, and following up after a day, the agent now says the issue is still in progress but the limit is now set to 50,000/- I made it clear that I want the limit to be atleast 2Lakhs per day. The agent says there is no such option for them to enhance the limit. Is it usual or are there any specific methods to get the limit enhanced?
Experts please advise.

Update: The question is more on the max amount limit per day but not the number of transactions in a day. I remember reading 4Lakh is the POS limit somewhere, but couldn’t locate that now.
