Defective laptop from dellstore

My fried bought a vostro 14 3400  laptop from dellc.om,  they cancelled the order saying its only for business people and its shipped from Malaysia and require GST information. They suggested to buy from https://www.dellstore.com/vostro-14-3400-laptop-d552204win9be.html. and he bought it from the above site and the payment went to RP tech. He received the product, but the battery drops very fast, (the customer care says maximum battery back up time is 3 hours . but flipkart and amazon says 10 hours ) the system is extremely hot with disturbing fan noise.. Complained to customer care but they are taking indefinite time to resolve… the invoice has no dell name mentioned anywhere… my questions are

1. Is dell not responsible for items sold through dellstore ? 

2. will they replace or refund or just ask us to take it to the service center?

3. What would be the best way to deal with dell team..

photos badi kar ke daalo.jitna mujhe lagta ha they will waste more time in their service center and in the end might replace if u are able to convince them.

They said for 21 days on call or you received an email? Because if they told you on call, when you will call them they may say we haven’t told.

Better to have proofs. Ask the agent to share the same details on your email id. Even check if your return period is not expiring within these 21 days.

Yes they said it on a call.. but my friend insisted for an email… so they wrote back we have taken request for replacement and will assist with the same. They offered an upgraded (Only RAM)  version too.. but he declined the offer smile

who is providing the replacement Dell or rptech Bro?

usually I find complaints on twitter and instagram Dell handles regarding replacement units not dispatched even after 1 month

Yes.. received it yesterday… but the usb port and the headset port are not working.. they asked to reinstall windows but no luck.. and see the reply them here… that "headsets with mics will not work on that port "😄.. my friend got really frustrated and asked for refund… btw he has now two laptops with him… one he has to return … He did some work around with audio and usb drivers and both seems to work fine now.. he cant afford to waste more time. so i think he has decided to go with this one.

take the refund n buy another laptop. Try to take some compensation as well

RETURNED MY 5TH LAPTOP TO HEMALDA VICTOR. I HAVE BEEN SO PATIENT
SENDING BACK & FORTH WAITING OVER A MONTH FOR THE SYSTEM FAILURE!

THE LATEST SYSTEM WAS A TOP END 2IN1 SYSTEM. Advanced
Resolution Services replaced the SSD Drive, broken DEFECTIVE PLASTIC
PARTS on a $3500 Laptop. I waited, and waited, Finally the Laptop
Returned, Missing Screws, My 5yo Son Stepped on a screw before taking
him to Pre School and his foot was BLEEDING! I AM A SENIOR I.T.ENGINEER
FOR 25 YEARS! THERETURNED” 2IN1 LAPTOP LASTED 3 HOURS, NOW IT HAS
BEEN SHIPPED BACK AGAIN. THE SYSTEM BOARD IS FRIED, THE SYSTEM HAS PRY
MARKS ON THE CASE!

ALREADY WAS PROMISED A
NEW UPGRADED SYSTEM FROM HEMALDA VICTOR, SEE INFORMATION LISTED BELOW.
NOW SINCE SEPTEMBER 2021 I HAVE BEEN THRU 5 DEFECTIVE SYSTEMS. HEMALDA
