I have a Dell 3537 laptop and it is showing that the battery needs to be replaced. Where can the battery be bought online? How can I be sure that it will be compatible with my laptop?

Just see the power rating of that battery bro! Search any e-commerce portal like flipkart or amazon and buy the one that suffice ur needs. Since it is a duplicate one, I can’t guarantee u life time.

But that will cost you a bit more.
You can also go for other brands that will cost you around half or bit more than that.
If possible visit any nearby computer market.
You can Buy lapcare brand battery pretty reasonable price and good quality.
But don’t forget to get it tested in front of yourself.
Else you can go for original dell battery online or offline.
It’s upto you which you prefer.
I had used 2 Lapcare batteries for my first HP laptop and for the price they worked OK. Original battery lasted 4.5 years(degradation had set in around the 3rd year). Replacement from service center costed ~4.2 or 4.5k. Lapcare ones were around 1.2k ( plus availed good discounts from Ebay and Amazon ) and worked well for 18 months and needed to be replaced by the 2.5 year mark. The situation should be better now as back then battery life even with the original one was barely 90 minutes what with power hungry CPU and dGPU. Battery life falling by half to say 1.5 hrs from 3 hrs is still usable compared to half of 90 mins.

If you have instruments you can repair in less than 500 otherwise do it from local shops.

Have you ascertained how much Apple charges for battery replacement?
From what it appears the battery is neither soldered or glued down. So anyone with modest skills could replace it.

What Operating system? There was false alarm earlier about battery replacement in system tray..
Mine is windows 10. And laptop is not staying on for single minute without power supply

Buy a replacement battery from Lapgadgets, i just bought one. The model number for battery should be XCMRD. I could not find a better offer than buying from their website.

Choose the appropriate voltage that would be written on your battery. I bought the replacement battery as it was cheap than the original and also has better backup than the original one.

Contact Dell CC and pay the amount. They will ship the Original battery.
