I want to start investing in bonds, which requires a demat account.

Please help which portal/broker gives free demat account with no/less AMC charges.

most of the discount brokers:) gives 0 AMC

search google on "discount brokers in India" and in their website check their AMC charges

because one shirt wont fit all:) so better if you can research using "discount broker" keyword:)

Since your needs will vary IT MIGHT CHANGE TO MORE THAN BONDS IN FUTURE

finvasia

Mirae (with one time 2.5k charges if my memory serves right)

groww

Also MOST OF THE FULL TIME BROKERS HAVE LIFETIME FREE DEMAT for zero AMC

WITH 3K OR 2.5K initial deposit (you have to request it though before opening account with full time brokers)
