1. Both have annual fee of rs500+ taxes
2. Both give 5% cash back on payzapp and smartbuy. ( Up to max rs400 for millennia dc and 2000 rp for rewards dc)
3. Cash back expires in 3 months for both
4. For millennia dc redemption should be in multiples of rs 400
I currently have rewards dc. I don’t use it much as I have amz icici cc, fk axis cc and SBI simply click cc.
I have the option to upgrade to millennia DC. Should I do it?

I think it’s 20 paisa. So max amount that can be earned in a month is rs 400 for both

Millennia rewards points have 1 year validity like other hdfc cards, it is promotional cashback points which have 3 months validity & that is true for all hdfc cards. All hdfc debit cards reward points/cashback points have same vale which is 1 point=1 rupee.

Thanks for the info!
Are you saying rewards dc is better than millennia dc?
I think Rewards card is discontinued, they issue millenia only

If this is correct then rewards card is much better and it have 15 days validity then also no problem as in debit card instant redemption to cash in account.

What is promotional cashback?
tuckless wrote:So basically all smartbuy cashback will be counted as promotional cashback?
Smartbuy 5% cashback should be a feature of card as all hdfc cards get this smartbuy offer which is running for years now but not sure.

Not sure, sometimes I got extra debit card reward points for smartbuy… And sometimes promotional cashback.

I have read this multiple times and I am convinced to get millenia. All thanks to your analysis.
I am not getting any option to apply for this card in my HDFC app.

Always use hdfc netbanking for any debit card related options(see debit card upgrade option) & use hdfc mobile app for biller add & bill payments.
Will transaction of credit card payment in this head “POS 416021XXXXXX0648 MOBIKWIK” earn cashback on easyshop visa platinum debit card?

Most likely No. You will find this out in next 4-5 days & if by some miracle you do get it then post here.
Does millennia debit card give 5% cb on nobroker rent payment via payzap ?
Dealhunting wrote:So which HDFC debit cards can get cashback for mobiwik credit card payments
Millennia debit card which gives 1% cashback(max 400/month total cashback limit) on wallet loads & I think hdfc system sees any mobikwik transaction as wallet load.

It should as Millennia debit card has its own smartbuy payzapp 5% offer other than usual 5% smartbuy offer on all hdfc cards but keep in mind its total cashback limit of 400/month(this does not incl smartbuy 5% cashback which is max 1000/month).

On no broker it says 5% extra on millennia cards in the banner but on detail t and c it says 5% extra on millennia cc.. so had this doubt.. thanks..
