So I purchased Amazon Prime 2 months ago (yearly subscription).

today i ordered one mobile for me, when ordering it was showing get it today by 5PM.  selected one day.

After ordering, it was showing the expected date: tomorrow at 10 p.m.

called customer care: He said, sir, we cannot do anything; your product will be delivered tomorrow by 10 p.m. only.

Even when I go to the product page now, it shows delivery time tomorrow by 10 a.m.

wtf??  I needed it urgently.

They show the correct date after ordering the product.

The product page date is the fastest time if the product is ordered at the start of the time window of their shipping. Little complicated to explain.

Yes, timer is there below it.

Order before X to get it on Z date/time

Oh well, what's new?  Amazon has lost its credibility & the tag of so called " Earth's most customer centric company". These days, they return shipments without making any effort to deliver to intentionally disqualify customers from meeting MOV requirements. 🤡💩  Kindly bang them on X.

Still the best and Goated company , atleast they make efforts unlike nykaa and Myntra doing scam and frauds like Flipkart

Take a screenshot of estimated delivery date and time while placing the order and share that with CC if order is delayed, they may extend your amazon prime by a month

1] screenshot do not work for that.

2] rhe order confirmation e-mail or the initial commitment at the time of order number creation, is what matters (to them)

3] it is called GDD (and not EDD). although in this case it obviously is the Guaranteed Delivery Date only. In case of Estimated Delivery Date (even if Prime is there), there is no default option (concession) available to them in their Customer Issue Manager/CIM ..to extend it by 30 days.

But otherwise yes, you are right.🙂
They are now temporary hires or even hires of third party call-centees, so even their trainers are as dumb or uninterested as them and so 95 out of 100 agents are not even aware of the 30 days extension policy (for lapsed GDD).
(Even with those who do know, there is a risk that some crooked or shameless agent would give the concession but label it as 'invalid', by adding fake notes/ annotation that 'customer fault'. So now the system thinks that the agent is forced= coerced by the customer and got a concession which was not as per policy.)

Looks like you selected tomorrow as the delivery date during the ordering process.

If keen on getting it today as shown on the page, try to order again after cancelling the previous order.

amazon service pathetic now. nowadays most of my orders are marked as delivery attempted without contacting me. customer care people also not standing their words after sending confirmation emails also

Same happened with me yesterday when the order was supposed to be delivered but no-one contacted me till 10pm then suddenly delivery date changed to 30th and a while after that it was updated to "returning to seller" & the reason was "receiver refused the delivery".
