Discontinuation of Amex ezeClick for online purchases

American Express® ezeClick, a one ID online payment solution, is being discontinued from 31 December 2020.

You can continue making online purchases with your American Express® Card by entering your Card Number, expiry date and CVV (4-digit Card Validation Value above the Card number) during checkout to initiate payment.

A transaction can be confirmed by either of the two methods mentioned below:
1. Through tapping on the push notification* received on your American Express® App post checking the details.
2. By entering the One-Time Password (OTP) received via email or SMS.

Here’s how you can enable push notifications:
1. Download the American Express® App.
2. Go to your mobile device settings.
3. Enable push notifications for the American Express App.
Simply select ‘Yes’ on the push notification to confirm your purchase.

Please be aware that not all transactions will experience SafeKey verification via the Amex App.
