yes ;;; this is new “You Save: ₹ 157.00 (19%) as a Prime member”
Yesterday… i was buying some cloths from my secondary account.. and price were increasing for non prime members
It has been there in various ways.
Friend with no AmazonPayICICI card was shown speakers price reduced by Rs750 – which was CB for applying ApayICICI card
.
Samay aa gaya hai extra Amazon account deactivate karne ka. For my non-prime account order, they are even delaying shipping of orders so that delivery gets delayed. Prime ka kuch jyada hi hauwwa bana rakha hai in logon ne
Discrimination?
This is good news in many ways
1. Deals with fake accounts
2. Manufacturer pricing restrictions
3. Get more prime subscriptions ( For them)
How is this any different than those prime day exclusive deals ?
Even then the product price is different for both prime & non-prime user. Its just that now there’s only one pricing scheme based on the user privileges
I don’t think these exclusive offerings will be there all days atleast for now (Except sale days)
Actually now i am feeling i paid 999/year for something. As before I felt dumb to spend on something with less privilege. Now i can boast for prime membership otherwise everything was available for free on torrent(amazon video/music/books).
Amazon: yeah that’s why we did that (only for the feeling)
I’m not sure why people are getting worked up. It’s Amazon’s website and they are well within the rights to promote prime and offer exclusive rewards for prime customers.
This is not discriminatory pricing for non-prime users. Rather it is preferential pricing for Prime Users.
Prime or no prime, this product is available in local market for 400 or less
It’s prime membership saving
Take a look at this price and mrp:

Never knew such a thing exists. I have seen instances where prime members get extra benefits through exclusive deals during sales but not this.
