That’s terrible..

Looks like they have partnered with Digi & U-Mobile network in Malaysia.

How long back was this?

Also did you recharge with 1101 IR pack while in Jio network before leaving?

Will be helpful if you can reply ..
As per Jio customer support their International roaming is working very good world wide. I just do not want to waste Rs. 1101 for nothing

Activate IR service (NOT plan) for free via MyJio/website: https://www.jio.com/en-in/faq/ir-plan/how-do-i-...

Do this BEFORE you leave the country. The setting needs to be propagated to your SIM so it needs to be connected to an Indian tower.

After following the above steps, incoming messages/OTPs worked just fine for me the entire 15 days in Thailand.

you need to activate any of roaming pack for first time. This is one time only. After that main balance can be used if not recharged with ir pack.

Looks like they’ve changed it, now you need to buy a pack. Back in the day you could just activate IR from MyJio/Website.

You will probably have to recharge with the 575 plan then.
