Does axis consider refund as payment after statement generation?

I bought a laptop from Flipkart which i now have to return. But i doubt they will pickup the laptop before my bill generation date. So the refund will probably come to my cc after bill generation , in this case will they consider the refund as payment? The amount is around 60k.

Yes , no idea for axis though, normal cc works this way, they consider as payment.

They do (Verified with FK Axis) In any case, pay the Min due amount
You can also pay full amount and request excess credit refund later (Straight forward if you got Axis savings account, else they need Bank statement for last cc bill payment+ cancelled cheque), NEFT payment will be processed in less than a week

Yes for Amex, HSBC and Citi. No for all Indian banks.

It is not treated as payment but adjustment on next statement date. Min amt due must be paid. Otherwise, they will levy late payment charges.

If you hold axis bank sb account excess amount will  get automatically credited to your sb account before next bill generation date and bill will be generated for zero amount.

just pay minimum due to be safe even if they don't consider refund as payment you won't be charged any fine as minimum payment was paid on time 👍

If you are using Amazon pay or FK axis for commercial purposes. They will block account and card.

U should call CC and ask how much is outstanding. Same happened with me for mobile on Flipkart. I called kotak cc and they confirmed that the refund is adjusted.

As per the new RBI rule, a refund is to be taken as payment against outstanding. So it should be fine just, check with CC

What difference does it make If its fd based card? Why wouldn't it get blocked? Terms says no commercial use. So dont.
