Does HDFC Milennia CC give 5% cashback for gift cards purchased from Amazon?

I received 1% for Amazon GV on Amazon for hdfc milennia

Does milennia cc give 5% cashback on bill payment through amazon?

Sbi cashback yes

HDFC millennia no

But there is a trick order thru millennia and then cancel then select refund in Amazon pay then you will get 5%

Dunno why I got 5% till last statement (personally verified)... yet to see in April statement.

Last month i bought 16k gv directly from Amazon using millenia thought will get 1%  but after checking now got 800 points

I purchased GV from amazon 2-3 times through millennia and now I can't buy GV through any CC. Option is not their, anyone else facing this?
