Does IDFC First Bank Deliver Credit Card in Non-Branch Location or Tier 3 City?
I am not an IDFC First Bank Customer, But they have Offered me an IDFC FIRST BANK EASY BUY CARD because I was using Flipkart Pay Later earlier and IDFC was their Lending Partner also this year they have increased my Flipkart Pay Later Limit to 40,000Rs. and on their Personal Loan App they offered me an IDFC FIRST BANK EASY BUY CARD of 60000Rs Limit (It’s same as BAJAJ FINSERV EMI CARD) Mostly used for Offline Shopping like Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales Outlet.
So,you can say that i have a good relationship with them, now main question is i want to apply for their IDFC SELECT CREDIT CARD?
I have an Excellent CIBIL Score of 785 Currently with 2 Credit Cards – 1 is Amazon ICICI Card (Limit is 80,000)and 2nd is ICICI Platinum Credit Card (FD Based).
Will they Offer me?

how can i check in which tier city i live ?
No, they won’t if pincode is not serviceable even if you have savings account with them, confirmed with them on twitter, got the called next day and they denied. I am thinking to open new bank account with them as their service seems like ICICI.
My flipkart pay later limit was 35000 but just today i closed my pay later account i am not sure if having a pay later service has a major effect in issuing credit card cause i have already applied 2 times for their credit cards but straight away rejected both times

It is not range based, some pincodes within a certain range may be serviceable & some not. Also it may be possible you got this card by luck because you had niyo acc & not regular idfc acc but now niyo has partnered with equitas bank so no more niyo idfc acc.

Someone told earlier that IDFC cc does VKYC and also don’t need communication address proof , so I am thinking to apply for it and get delivery on relative’s address.

That is for opening bank acc, for credit cards they will first match address pincode on your aadhaar with serviceable pincode list failing which vkyc option won’t even come up.

Thanks, I thought mine would be tier 10 city.
Lol, they are not letting me open digital saving account telling the reason that there is no branch in my city so they can’t open account and asking to visit branch where is available and go through offline method. I thought we can open digital saving account even though if we live in tier3 city where there is no branch?

They did exactly same for opening saving account. After entering Aadhar OTP I get message “sorry we are not there yet” and didn’t allow to open account. Do they also not open digital saving account if branch is not available in the city? Its available 70 km away though in next city.

They assign nearby branch as your base branch based on pin code while account opening. Thats why not available

They will definitely let you open account as long as you are in India. My nearby branch is 125Kms away and it’s my home branch as well.

Branch distance doesn’t matter as long as your aadhaar address pincode comes under their serviceable pincodes list but if not then they won’t allow acc opening even if branch is within 10 min walking distance.

Okay so it is same like credit card, correct? Credit card also doesn’t come under serviceable pincode but didn’t know that same case is with digital account opening.

No, I am in tier 3 town(or city) location and IDFC credit card in not serviceable yet but they let me open the account. Did you try contacting them on Twitter?
IDFC has only VKYC or both VKYC as welll as physical ?
