Its neglected due to Mumbai been very close to pune over the years. Finally, I heard the purandar airport will be ready by 2026 which would be relief.

I doubt the Purandar Airport plan as before that Navi Mumbai airport will become operational and that will be even closer to pune than current Mumbai airport
