I'm thinking of switching from Apay card to Swiggy card for my Amazon subscriptions so wanted to make sure it gives 5% back on auto-pay transactions or not.

I would recommend you give it a shot once. I understand that subscriptions are treated differently, but Amazon might bill you as it would've for a regular transaction.
