https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07YQ3NL21?ref=cm_sw_r... I'm thinking to try one of the water softener available from WaterScience company.

https://amzn.in/d/g...KR

My input is from tanker water and tds is around 350-400, residing from last 4 yrs causing hairfall and skin issues.

I was researching and got WaterScience and this does not reduce tds but removes the effect of hardness from water. This claims to reduce hairfall and protect skin.

Did anyone tried this? Or have any other alternatives

The products you shared dont work effectively.

But yeah there are products available which do works good. But they are slightly expensive and are big in size

search in your local city market for water softener.  they will have 1 or 2 big cylindrical RO tanks of 4-7 feet height depending on your usage capacity, few filters & a 0.5 hp motor is needed to create pressure as these tanks need pressure to pass water. they will cost less & very affordable if done by local people. you may need to purchase a smaller 200-300 litre tank to store the softened water.

overall setup may cost 10k-30k depending on your usage requirement.

Take into consideration that all water softeners will come with regular maintenance costs on top of the initial investment. Also recently read that the heatwaves heat up the water and that in turn affects the membranes and that they will need to be replaced if they are rendered ineffective.
