Domain name and web hosting

If you are planning to earn money from it then don’t look for the cheapest provider. You always get what you pay for. Cheapest hosts will be slow and become offline half of the time.

A good host will cost you 6-7 dollars per month and domain is 10 dollars per year.

Don’t buy domain and hosting from same provider. Keep them separate.

GoDaddy is great for domains but it’s a little expensive. I use internet.bs for domains. Canadian company. Very reliable and great prices.

If you are just starting out then you can buy hosting from Namecheap. I think they charge $9 $15.44 for the first year. Very good host. You can also use Hostgator or Dreamhost too. They charge 7-8 $ per month and offer discounts on longer plans.

If you want amazing performance then buy a VPS from Linode, Digital Ocean or Vultr. They are cheap but super performance. Only downside is you will need to learn and setup your own server. There are tutorials but it’s still some learning curve.
