Domestic flight booking, best strategy?

For travel in may-2021, I will need to book flight tickets for 6 people for Mumbai Bangalore route. To and fro. I am not sure when I will be booking the tickets but want to know from seasoned dimers as to what would be the best strategy to book the flight tickets to get best deal.
I have Amazon pay ICICI credit card and also HDFC regalia card which I got just 2 months back.
Would any of these cards be of any help?
